Description:
Many individuals wish to visit or explore the various buildings at SCAD, but they often struggle to find accurate directions. Hence, the need for wayfinding arises to assist them. This project aims to help people navigate from Poetter Hall to Alexander Hall, whether by driving or walking. Additionally, it allows individuals to gain awareness of the locations of different buildings within SCAD along the route.
Objective:
The SCAD wayfinding showcases all SCAD buildings along the route and displays the fastest paths to reach each building. It provides guidance to help individuals smoothly arrive at their desired SCAD buildings.
Throughout the entire wayfinding system, I opted not to directly utilize SCAD's existing logo. Instead, I employed the color palette inspired by honeycombs to create a more streamlined logo. Incorporating bee elements, I aimed to infuse the wayfinding with a sense of liveliness and playfulness, making SCAD's impact more profound. Additionally, I introduced a motion map to enhance interactivity.
